2017 SUMMER FUNdraiser!

The Cambodian Children's House of Peace was founded in 2008 and has served over 50 children throughout their elementary and high school educations. Many of our children graduated 12th grade over the past several years and have gone on to university or vocational training.

Now, the government no longer allows the intake of additional residential children. Therefore, CCHP has reached out to the neighborhood children who are in need of support for food, health care and school clothes and supplies. The children and their families receive support for two meals a day, to attend school, tutoring and English education at Santepheap. The project has moved to a new home, built especially for the children, with two classrooms to accommodate the neighborhood children.

For this program to continue, we need a sustainable budget of $1,500/month. We are launching a fundraiser with a goal of $18,000 for the year. We invite you to join the team and run a fundraiser this summer at a time of your choosing. This could be a fun run, a garage sale (with your friends and neighbors), at church or at work, and so on. Another way to participate is through social media. You can use your Facebook or Twitter, etc. to invite your friends to make an online donation, $5, $10, $25, etc. to reach your goal. They can also ask their friends to keep the chain going! Click on the icons at the bottom of this page to share.

Also, please help us reach that goal by encouraging donors to "Make a recurring donation", and we can support these neighborhood children for a whole year.
